Whats the difference in HP
All the parts bolt up fine... the motor only cost me around 200 bucks...i was just curious on the horsepower difference, i wasnt beraking any records before so it isnt going to matter that much anyhow, but i dont want a turd either...
Like it was stated before. If anything you will pick up a few ponies because of the raised c/r. I would start running premium fuel though. Everything will bolt up fine and you should have no problems.
PS: I'm sure that there are lots of places to get this info but my favorite site to visit when I want to know the specs on a certain car is www.autotrader.com. You can quickly find the HP/TQ/weight/price etc etc for nearly any car. Good luck on your project.
you actually did a good thing and you will make more torque and horsepower. I think you made a good decision. the NPI motors have pistons with less of a dish to the top of them which is why your compression will rise. In the end with your heads and that motor you should be good for 290 crank hp....
cool, im deffinately feeling a little more relieved about mu descision, we are dropping the motor down in the car today as a matter of fact.....thanks again guys for the advice and info...
