Im wondering why u guys didnt buy a camaro or firebird and bought a Mustang instead. even though ls1s r much faster w/ 1.1 more displacement.

Here's my reasons 1)too expensive 2)not as good looking 3)interior svcks 4)not as classy

The same as you and my friends have f-bodies, one has a camaro the other a ws-6 bird. I didn't want to get what they had because I would get a ws-6 if I did. So I said hell with it, I'll get the Stang. It fits my personality better and the feedback from the mustang as to what it is doing is better IMO, even if it doesn't handle as good out of the box.

I don't like the way they look, except the ws6's. Its amazing what little change in body will do to a car. I like the way the mustang looks atleast in the 99-04's. I wasnt worried about speed too much, im just going to by my c6 z06 2 years after i graduate . Ill still keep my stang though.

I like the style of the mustang better. Those f-bodies are too plane. Plus I'd rather take that $5,000 I saved and get mods and smoke there a$$!!!

i dont like the camaros styling...i mean the only body style i like are the ones from the early 90's, like the 92....i dont like the body style of the 93 and up...

i like some of the firebirds styling, it looks a lil meaner...

but i dont like the interior of the cars, theyre identical to the one in my moms cavalier...which is really..bland

the mustang is just sexy...well the 99-04's are sexy...i dont really like the foxes, cuz theyre ugly...

but i guess its cuz of styling and cost that got a mustang

and i think ur right, chicks recognize mustangs more

its true chicks dig the stang. even though its b/c many of them would love to drive a stang themselves, but what the hell what ever works i guess. LOL

I had just totaled my Vette (Oct) and before that had a Camaro Z28, and it had been a while since I had a Mustang.
I wanted a 9?-98 style Mustang, but my wife wanted me to get something newer.
I was looking on line at Mustangs and saw a nice Silver 02 Gt for sale at a local dealer, I went to go look at it and it was gone so the sales guy showed me this one. Once we worked out a price I drove it and liked it, now it's mine.
I do like how you can change up the looks of the car a lot more than a Camaro.
