Saleen/Roush Body Kit= ricer-like tactic?
Okay i am absolutely in love with my car and want to get a saleen or roush body kit. There is a problem however................my car is a standard GT!! Do you think it is a ricer tactic to put a saleen/roush body kit on a non saleen/roush. I really like these body kits but i do not want to seem like a "wanna-be."

I don't think it's rice at all. The Saleen and Roush body kits enhance the appearance of the Mustang, as opposed to a ricey body kit on an import that just uglifies the car. I think they look real good and it doesn't matter if you put one on a GT because you still own a Mustang and that's all that matters. 
It's all about style points, and by putting a body kit on your Mustang you won't expect it to be faster because it "looks" fast.

Saleen body kits are the best. As long as you don't put the S281 emblems on w/ all that other crap and pose as a saleen it's cool. I want a saleen body kit.

so what if i added the center exit exhaust? Would that be pushing it??
if center exit is only on S281 S/C i wont get it simply because i dont want people to mistaken me for a blown GT

Center exhaust looks retarted on stangs IMO. Just get an after market mid pipe and catback or go longtubes if you can afford 'em. don't go overboard with it... But I have to say the saleen/roush kits are very nice! I just don't like the wings....but i'm probably the only one!

when it comes to stuff like this.. you gotta do what you like, its your car and your cash, so do what makes ya happy! This just reminds me how a few months ago I pulled up next to a 94-98 stang with cobra lights, bumpers, emblems and hood. I pulled up to him at a light and we were looking at each other's cars. I let him pull ahead of me so I could hear his exhaust. He had a single down pipe coming out of the rear!!! I gave that guy hell! caught him at the next light, his V6 wasn't even a 5-speed. I gave him the finger, told him his fobra sucked and smoked his ***! Don't be that guy.....
