Default 2000 heater core

I need to replace the heater core in my 00 gt but cant really find any good online resources. Can anyone point me in the right direction?
And.... where would be the best place to purchase a new one.
Thanks

heater core? Napa, instructions? on-line... I guess we both need to buy the Stang Manuals, huh?

There's several youtube videos demonstrating the replacing of the heater core. Proceed with skepticism though because all the ones I found tell me to take the steering column apart and remove the dash but when I look in my service manual it says nothing about that and the engineers who wrote the procedures seemed to believe the job could be done without taking the entire front of the interior apart!

I'm thinking this is just ineptitude on the part of the video mechanics on youtube?

I would not take the whole dash out to replace the heater core. Been there, done that on a ‘96 t-bird. I think it can be done without dismantling the whole dash. Inlet/outlet are determined by the formed hoses from Ford. Don’t think it makes a difference on the core itself. Talk to an old Ford mechanic and ask them. Good luck!
