Default angel eye PITA... but awesome

I love the look of these lights but they are being a PITA to install. Those of you with them, is there any modifications to the area that the lights mount to? They aren't seeming to line up right.

american muscle. I looked on there site. They didn't have anyinstall information for the angel eyes, but they did for the regular projectors. They said that the hole where the back of the head light goes through has to be cut larger. That might be the problem that I am having. But I don't recall that being a problem, I will have to look.
