evrything went wrong
i pop my hood today to install my tunable induction intake and TB and plenum and new plugs.... i take out a plug, i **** up one of my new plugs , so i had to put the old plug back in and now im drivng on my old plugs AND it looks like some dirty fell into my heads where my spark plug gooes . thats not bad enough, i try to install the tunable indutcion intake and the throttle body tube wont clear the strut tower brace when demolet says that the new TB pipe cleards strut tower braces , so i had to put my stock crap on. i got kicked in the face 2 times today , yay for me, any suggestions... do u know if the NGK iradium plugs come gapped right out the box? thats how i screwed one up, i tried to gap it and ****ed it instead. i took apart my damn car , nothing worked, and i had to put everything stock back tgether , great
My inlet tube from C&L didn't clear my strut tower brace either... Thye lie to you, yea, get some tim e way from it and try again later otherwise, if you're like me you'll get frustrated and do more harm than good!
i hope that i little dirt didnt fall into the hole where the plug goes... it looked like it might have but then when i put back the dirty gross looking plug, i drove around and took it into the high RPMS and everything sounded ok so it think its cool
im just gonna take off my strut tower brace and put on the tunabel induction intake... then maybe ill get a 2 point brace off a cobra instead of my 3 point brace ... and then i think that will clear it ...

i dont know that sounds pretty bad , dont think ive had a day that bad. but i definitely feel for ya though. spend lots of money on new goodies, finally recieve them after a week of anticipation and waste a whole day and gain nothing[:@] id say there is nothing worse.
I wouldn't sweat the dirt as long as it was just alittle, pretty common on plug changes especially if you clean your engine often, thats where the dirt goes - in those crevaces. Sorry to hear about the densecharger situation, I never heard the upper hose would work with strut tower braces - Mr. Demolet told me for cars with strut tower braces they could only use the lower densecharger kit. This was a year ago though so maybe since then he made a kit he thought would clear.
ya exactly.... the new TB pipe is supposed to clear strut tower braces... oh well ... i hope that when i take off the strut tower brace i dont notice a diff in handling or anything because then ill be upset
would this work... i just thought of it.... can i use my 3 point strut tower brace from steeda, weld off the 2 bars that connect it to the firewall and just use the part that goes from 1 strut tower to the other?
anyone...??? can i cut the 2 bars that connect the brace to the firewall and just use the part that goes from 1 strut tower to the other? or would that be no good, i dont see why it wouldnt work but let me know what u guys think... i basically want to cancel out the closed triangle design of the brace , and make it just 1 bar spanning from 1 strut tower to the other.. i hope this makes sense... i hope it would still be effective at bracing the strut towers .... let me know thanks guys
