i have a 2002 mustang with the 4.6. i lost fifth gear in my tranny which is the tr 3650. i am going to put a new one in it but i am hearing all kinds of different stories. What i need to know is what is the TREMEC tranny? i have heard that thats the tranny in my car, and ive heard its the ones in the 96-01 stang, the t-45. I heard its a good tranny, and i was wondering if it will fir my car, the t-45. i have the electro speedo. i just need a break down from someone who really knows trannys. thanks for all help

 

After the middle of '01, the GT's had the 3650.

 

T-45 sucks even worse than the 3650.
