Default RE: Best Rear End

ok I think I have decided on this final setup, let me know if you think somthing is wrong or I can do better(for relatively same price) or if I am missing anything

from summit racing:
http://store.summitracing.com/partde...rt=DTL-912A562
Detroit True Trac DTL-912A562 for $449.95

http://store.summitracing.com/partde...S-M-4209-G410A
FRPP 4.10 R&P for $219.95

http://store.summitracing.com/partde...part=RAT-3008K
Ratech Deluxe Ring and Pinion Kit for $119.99

I already have a DTS girdle with the stud kit.

The car has 28splines. Its a 2000 GT, and a 5speed. It already had a 4.10 in it....and I liked it

Let me know if it all looks good.

Also looking for a way to get my speedometer to read right with the 4.10, any reccomendations?

That set up looks ok but I would spend the extra $200 and make it all a 31 spline setup. Just my $0.02.

200? I don't see a set of two axles for 200, where did you find 31 spline axles for 200? And what brand? I thought I saw FRPP for like 340 each.....and then some other brands for like 180 each, dunno the quality difference though...

Im sure I can find them but axles usually run around 75-150 used with no guarantee they arent bent. I don't think I produce enough power to have to worry about that though..

hey just lookin to save you some money. i bought my frpp 4.10's from www.americanmuscle.com and it only cost me 189.95. and to correct your speedo , you need a speedcal available also on the same site for 100$ or you can get it tuned. your choice.
