Default Speedometer Problem...

Hi, I'm wondering about speed pick up because the speed gauge shows over 200 mph on the town road, I've got stock 96GT with TKO600, then I checked speed pickup yesterday, but it was magnet (Electric?) style. I had T45 before, and it had red speed gear on the pick up. Now, what kind of thing is required to get right speed on my gauge? Please help me out!!!

Stock 1996 Mustang GT, 225/55/16, TKO600(.64), 3.27 rear.

Thanks!

Does the speedo sweep in the right direction, or is it backwards? Sounds like you have incompatible drives, which will require the correct gear set.

Thank you for your reply!!! I asked a guy who sells speedometer gearsthen he mention that 19T gear will on myGT so I got onefew weeksago, but my TKO600's wasmagnet(Electric?) pick up init therefore I was confused. Is that possible to reuse T45's speed pickup assemblyw/new collect gear(19T)? or is thereany good ideas or compernents to fixmy confusion? Thanks again!!!
