Default What to expect...performance wise???

So I just bought a new-to-me 01 GT 5spd. I have been working out some minor used car bugs, but I was wondering what I could expect out of my new Mustang, performace wise?

For example, if I was cruising in a parking lot below 15 MPH in 2nd gear and floored it, should I expect the tires break loose?

Any other pointers I should expect/look for?

My Mustang has horrible bottom end power, is that normal?

Third gear seems to pull strong for like a week before I need to shift.

1st and 2nd are definately gonna pull alot harder than the others,, our cars just seem to pull alot harder after 250-3K.. try a 15 mph roll in 1st and see what happens..

tires will all depend how your tires break free..

14.0-14.5 in the quarter for a cheap car isnt too bad really..

good luck though man, any more Q's, let us konw

no you wont spin the tires in 2nd at 15mph without reving it up and dumping the clutch.

If you want to spin them from a roll like that throw some 4.10 or 4.30s in it.
