Default temporary quiet exhaust?

i have an inspection due pretty soon and need to quiet my car down to 91Db or less. Are there any temporary ways to quiet the exhaust without messing anything up/???

Not really. There are these strange cones I've seen people talk about that you insert into the end of your tailpipes that supposedly quiet the system down.

What type of aftermarket exhaust do you have? As long as you don't have a bullet type muffler, you could always have your stockers bolted back in place?

If you have a Magnaflow or Bassani system you can get a set of Bassani Baffles which get inserted into the tips.
They fit both Bassani and Magnaflow tips.
It quiets things down a little but don't expect miracles.

i believe its a full flowmaster 40 series system welded all the way back, no cats and an h-pipe.Had it tested today 99 db at around 2200 rpm needs to be at 91 db at 3,000 rpm to pass. Thanks for the tips though i appreciate it.

in pa, no cats mean you wouldn't pass inspection even if the exhaust ran at 0db
