Forged internals

RE: Forged internals
You will not need race gas. You could even play with the timing a bit adn be fine with 91 or 93 octane. 11.5 isn't that nuts. Alot of stock cars are in the 11's with compression. Its over 12 and crazy timing that makes you need more octane. And even then, get a good addative and you can get a good 3-5 points of octane.

12.5 is where you start needing addative. On our hydro, its 15:1 and we only need 110 (as apposed to 114). But its running crazy timing and a ton of other stuff. 9000 RPM Chevy Big Block 511ci. 950HP.

Yeah its not that crazy but pretty sweet by modular mustang standards. Shoot i think Fred (Lizzyfan) has 10.5:1 and his is blown. So you guys have any guess on what kinda numbers ill make on the butt dyno?

Anyways, keep us updated on the project... sounds like your car will be up and running again in no time.

Yeah tell me about it Altitude ftl. Stroker kits dont really do much on n/a motors. I am having it bored .20 over. I want to dyno it with a wild tune and mild tune just so i can see how many poneys i have. Anything over 300 rwhp and i'll be happy lol. Hmm i wonder if i can get to be the fastest Newedge n/a vert on here. . . .[8D]
