I got the 3.73s in today. How much is my speedometer off?and which way faster or slower? Can a tuner fix this. My ford place wanted $400. Theres no way im paying that.

They make your speedo say your going faster.

A tuner can fix it easily.

hey call 1-800 MUSTANG...THEY GOT A SPEED CAL. 90 BUCKS.. i got one one mine you can adjust to any gear from 2.73 to 5.13s instrutions in box...cause you got elect speedo ..not hard to install either dont even have to get under car,,just remove shift boot

400 to reflash the ecm? That's insane. You can get a speed cal from dallas mustang for 100bucks or you can get a hand held tuner for about 400 and do it that way.

highjacking this post! I am about to install my 3.73's as well, but I wanna wait to get the speedo recalibrated.... Should I get programmer, or just the speed calc? Suggestions please!

That's what they try to do. Sell you the expensive bullsh!t one.

The speedo recal Ford sells works but that's all it does. For another hundred bux you can get the tuner, push a couple of buttons and your done.
