Default Underneath Rear Seat

What is underneath the rear seat? Is it just the body or is it hollow underneth it? Just wondering as I cant store everything I need for an upcoming trip and wondered if I could make more space that way.

It makes more space, but its not a ton. To really get anything out of it your going to need to take the entire rear seat out, including the seat backs. Even then its not a massive difference.

The foam from the bottom of the cushion takes up most of the space.
IOW you really can't fit much in there.

Under the front of the bottom of the seat, theres 2 spring loaded clips you press in with a screwdriver, or something of the like. There maybe 10 inches from each side of the car. Push a clip in, pull up on the seat, and do the same on the other side.

Only if you have a coupe.
Verts tend to get a little water in there, it's normal.
