I just installed magnaflow on my cobralast week and I love it. GREAT tone. [/align][/align].. However there's an odd sound coming from one of the pipes when you rev it .. kinda sounds like steel vibrating ... I REALLYdon't think it's a leak, it just sounds kind of like one ... anyone got any ideas? (sorry to break topic there man lol)[/align]

I want it to be loud and i dont mind some raspiness, but i cant stand an exhaust that is too raspy.....will the catless x with either setup be overly raspy?

iwould highly recommend the borla stingers. i know about 10 cobra guys with borla and its the ****! it has the deepest growl i've ever heard come out of a car. the o/r x will you you a nice pop and a little rasp, but the stingers shouldn't be too raspy. i would also recommend magnapacks, cobras just SCREAM with packs

this is a very common problem with magnaflow. the screw that tightens the hanger to tip comes loose, or if it is tightened all the way the hanger just vibrates against the tip. some guys use loctite or some other epoxy to secure the hanger to the tip so it doesn't vibrate. you can also clamp the backside of the hanger i guess...it annoys the crap out of me too

I love my Prochamber + Mac catback setup, and get complimented on how good it sounds all the time, however if I had a Terminator I'd want to be loud as hell. No question for me, Stingers.

Go with Mac. IMO, they sound WAAAY better! The Mac Cat back sound mean as hell! I have a friend with a Bassani O/R X and Mac 3' on his Cobra and his car is loud as hell driving around town. It is raspy and crackles and pops like no other, but he has a Mystichrome so the exotic sound goes with his car.
