Timing Adjuster = fuel???
I am about to go put on my timing adjuster and I know it says anything above 10 degrees you MUST run 92 octane fuel..Right now I have a full tank of 89 oct and am wondering if it will be safe to run the 89 til it runs out? I plan on puting the timing to 13 degrees sound about right??

Go to Autozone and get some 104 octane boost and throw it on. Get the black bottle... not the red one. If not you might get some detonation. Why are you going 13 degrees advanced? If I were you I would go atleast 14 degrees advanced.

Nah, 14 is good. You may be able to run 15. You just have to do it and drive it to see if you have any power surges or if the CE light comes on. 14 is safe though. Thats what mine has been at for the past 5 months.

Yeah i know but he wouldnt benefit from it unless he uses premium. I say go drive like a maniac for an hour or so and then fill it up with premium.

Does the timing adjuster set at 14 give the car more "getup" from the line...how does it actually work? If this is the case, how come you set a blown setup at like 8 or 9 degres.
