Cam suggestions

RE: Cam suggestions
driving it wise (aka without a dyno) I could not tell the difference.
I would go out on a limb and say that nobody on this forum could just hop in and drive 2 cars, both identical otherwise, and tell the differnce powerwise between a stage 1 and stage 2 cam on a stock shortblock n/a car... its just not going to be that big of a difference down low or up top.
You can definatly feel the difference between teh stock and aftermarket cams though. The car doesn't loose power up top, and having that extra 25-35+ WHP at redline really makes a difference.

RE: Cam suggestions
i have vt stage one cams. i got them for two reasons.
1) i didnt have to install valve springs. that is very time consuming
2) i can run a blower better on stage 1s vsstage 2 n/a
they make stage 2 for blower applications and if your are thinking about a supercharger that would be my suggestion. if u never think ull get a supercharger you may as well splurge and get the 2s.
the ones have a lope that is noticable over stock. dont let anybody tell you otherwise. there is a big difference in power over stock. but not matter what set you choose you wont feel the full potential until you get better heads
