Default Factory Alarm Issues...

My factory alarm recently stopped working, thought it was the remote so I replaced the battery no luck. I'm wondering maybe a fuse? but I don't have the maual, also the person who had the car before me screwed with the electrical he had underglow lights on the car [:'(]. It looks like he used the door speakers to power it and I had to rewire the tweeters wires into the door speakers because of it. Anyways maybe it's a bad wiring issue elsewhere? who knows what the tard before me did. Everyhing works aside from that,...for now anyway. Any suggestions appriciated thanks!

I'd check all your fuses, you could try to disconnect your battery and then hook back up to set if it resets your alarm. Otherwise you may have to program your remote to the car, if I remember right its something like you turn your key ignition on (not starting car tho) -on-off like 13 times and then you press the arm button, something odd like this..... someone else may know what you have to do...
