Default Accufab TB

Might be a stupid question, but is it worth it to upgrade the TB from stock to accufab 75mm without upgrading the plenum also. Would I see any gain at all?

I don't think that the 75mm will work with the stock plenum. The blade may be too large. Correct me if I'm wrong.

That would be interesting because they make no mention of it on the AM web site. Usually, when there is a compatibility problem, they tell you. Good way to sell extra stuff too.

I think it will still bolt on, but you won't see the HP gains advertised with the combo, if you want just a TB go with someone cheaper like FRPP BBK or something along those lines

Yeah I'm not exactly sure on the size of the opening on the stock plenum. I would imagine though that if they were big enough to accomodate a 75mm t-body, there wouldn't be much of a reason to buy an aftermarket plenum. Correct me if I'm wrong guys.

why not just get a cheaper brand and you can get a TB & plenum? MAC & BBK have really cheap ones and work just the same.

Thanks for the feedback everyone. I think I will just send it back and spring for the combo unit, but not until I have upgraded my cams.
