Default fuel leak.... bad......

Guys, I've noticed i have a major gas leak at the tank. It's coming from the large rubber grommet that the filler neck goes into the tank. It's cracked badly. Im assuming this thing acts both as the lock ring/ o-ring? How hard is it to replace this thing?

A friend of mine just replaced his last week. He said it wasn't that bad.

+1, if you pull the passenger side trunk liner you get straight access to the filler neck. Dropping the tank is easy if there isn't much fuel in it and doing the actual replacement is easy.

Filler Neck Grommet

Ford Dealership Only

Will run you I think like 25 bucks

Easy install. Just make sure your tank is pretty empty so its not heavy.

Just make sure that you don't mangle it when putting everything back together...
