Gauge swap...

RE: Gauge swap...
Yes,
Keep an extra $80 on hand and make the swap in the local Ford dealership parking lot and remember to bring all your keys, you will need to have your keys reprogrammed after you make the swap. The PATS key codes are stored in the instrument clutser.
Edit: Also, record your mileage right before the swap, it won't be transferred to the new cluster.

RE: Gauge swap...
You can keep your mileage. Take the back of the cluster off and then you can get to the mileage. Its a little box that you can take out and put into a diff. cluster. I just took out my mrt gauges and put some stock gauges back in. Took about 20 mins and i kept my mileage. O, and didnt have to get a new key made either................

You will have to switch out the odometer screen like said. This will bring your miles along also. I think that this will allow you to use your keys as they are now also. I had to do this when I swapped my gauges out for my Simco gauges. Mileage was saved and the car worked without reprogramming.

RE: Gauge swap...
The only difference is the gauge faces, if you swap over the circuit board and odometer assembly you will lose nothing--mileage or PATS. I've done it, takes 45 minutes tops...[/align]
