No it is not a waste, you will see about 20rwhp n/a. you will gain more from that intake than all bolt ons combined, if not pretty damn close.

I was never a fan of the kits that people sell of ebay and having to rtv the intake and such. Ive had buddies have problems with that route, but then again i read about guys on here not having problems.
