4.10 question
I'm watching a video of a 99 GT with 4.10's and he is topping out 4th gear at ~100 mph. He says that my RPMS will be lower because he has a diff tranny? For the guys with newer GTs where does your 4th gear top out?

When I cross the traps, im just about to hit the redline (NOT THE LIMITER) at 105 mph. But thats not topend at all. Ive had my 4.10's up to 155 mph very easily and had a 250lb person in the car with me. If he hadnt been there I probably could have seen 160.

4th gear ratio is the same for all the 5speeds, so the dude's mistaken - 5th gear is different though and the 01+ 3650's have a lower 5th gear ratio. On 25.7" tires (stock size) 4the gear should be good for about 115 @ the rev limiter with 4.10's

yeah j/d go 138 and see if your tackin 5000 rpms..i dont drive 75 i go like 90 so 3.73s are better for me ,sometimes 110 went smokies arent around[&:]

It wont be that high at 138mph. I had it at 150+ mph the other day and still had like 1500 RPMs to go. I will have to take a picture of it one of these days.

Haha, take a picture of your dash while going 150? I'd love to see someone try that. I'm guessing you'll have a friend do it?
