cold air problem

Default cold air problem

today i installed my cai in was runing great. starting up fine running good notice a littel differ like it alot. but later on the night i had it off and i start it up and just let it idle and all of sudden the engine died and my check engine light came on i tunred it off then started it back up, it started up no problem drove it around a littel more tuned off check it the cold air and everyting is pluged in ok nothing loose so start it back up again and did it no problem anyone know what it might have been?

I dont really know man... As long as it doesnt keep doing it, I wouldnt worry about it..

Check your IAC in the coldair part because mine was filled with sand/ glass and no air was going through.

He means check to make sure none of the sensors have oil/debris on them from your install, on your car both sensors are combined into the MAF sensor, which is right after your new CAI. Pop it off, check to make sure the sensor is clean. If it is not, buy some sensor cleaner at your local auto parts store and clean it off.

If its running fine now thugh you are probably ok.
