After installing a CAI, it is recommend to unhook the battery cables for 15-30 minutes to reset the ECU memory.

+1 Check the MAF and make sure the T.B is cleaned out.

what year is your car? if it's earlier than '02 make sure you plugged the IAT sensor back in.
