Default Octane troubles

OK so I have an 02 GT with a Brenspeed 93 octane tune and I love it. Problem is, there seem to be fewer and fewer fill stations that carry 93 octane. It is to the point where I am concerned that if I end up needing fuel some where that I am not familiar with that I may not be able to find 93. So short of carrying my tuner in the car at all times to adjust for whatever fuel I can find, I was wondering: Can I keep octane booster in the car for the before mentioned scenario? I have never used a booster so I don't know if they work or are a load of crap to take your money. I am hoping someone here has experience or some knowledge on the topic that can help me out. Thanks.

The only octane booster that works is Torquo. If your car is tuned for 93 and you run 91 in it it will run fine. Torquo will boost your octane over 100 which you don't need.

+1, the bottles of "octane booster" have been proven to only add like .2 to a full tank.

On a n/a car, unless it just starts pinging like crazy etc, I don't see it hurting anything. Even with a 93 tune, if its not FI, its going to have to be tuned on the ragged edge to acutally hurt the car.

If your really worried about it, put a tank of 91 in and see if it pings... if it does pull a degree of timing out of your tune.
