Trans. Fluid

Hey guys, should I change the auto trans fluid and filter. The dealer tells me that it should be done like every 30,000 miles but a mechanic friend of mine tells me otherwise.

Yea I'd change it regularly as preventative maintenance, around 30k is the norm
