Get his Lifetime warranty in writing o somerthing. I had the same offer once. I went back and thy would not do anything for me. Just wanted more money to fix it.

"I think the mechanic has the x pipe and will remove the stocker h and fab up new pipes....with no cats, from the manifolds back to the rear joint. Thats my impression of the situation anyways.

Exactly. Thank you for all you that actually read this post.

After listening to some soundclips i think the custom o/r x and flow 40`s will sound nice, may have a lil to much pop though

You may be able to pay that much, but not for install too...For me it would be no big deal, I could install it, but for some they dont have acces to lifts or drive over bays, so getting it installed is a better option, PLUS a lot of muffler shops have bending equip for mandrel bends. When I used to be into imports, Meineke mandrel bent up a custom exhaust from the header back to the tail pipe, of course removing the cat and resonators, sounded like crap, but I thought it was cool back then.

Just got back from the shop ..sounds nice, very deep, exspected more pop at idel though...

damn,it's 8 nuts. buy an H-pipe and put it on yourself. my buddy has an o/r X with 2 chamber flows and it sounds like his car has diarrhea.
