Thats not true. I'm not going to read that whole thread, but if someone told you anything done to the car will void the warranty, then they are full of crap.
In most cases, if you add add-ons that cause the failure of other factory parts, then yes, that will negate the warranty. However, if you take your Mustang to a dealer and have them add the add-ons you will get a statement from them that the add ons are covered by warranty. But, if you are just a silly hot rodder that trashes your original Ford Mustang with speed enhanced equipment, then you are SOL regarding Warranty from Ford.

ha why spend money for turning the TC button off? Are ppl really THAT lazy these days? We can turn the radio on and off, skip songs and such, but heaven forbid we have to push the TC button to disengage it[sm=dontgetit.gif]

I forget to turn off the traction control sometimes. So when I really step on it or need to get out of a situation, and I happen to spin the tires. It cuts off the fuel. Its very anoying... I think the factory should have made it so when you turned the car off with the TC off it should stay that way when you turn the car on next time.

yea its embarassed me a couple of times before. Now its just a habit turning it off when I get in the car. I would not pay for something that keeps it turned off, its just a button [&:]

well assuming you have read it, the b*tch told me that ANYTHING done to the car would void the warrenty. I just dont know who to believe because other people at ford have told me this as well. I mean why would they lie. Now im not saying they arn't lieing but it just doesn't make sense. Its annoying and all of them at ford say that anything will void the warrenty. thats what i have been told by several people at ford.

Because they don't want you to mod your car.

If you want to mod it, mod it. You have to pay to play. I not worried about the warrenty, almost up anyway, and I know the law. If it IS NOT the cause of the failure DIRECTLY the car retains it's warrenty, that it.

If you are so concerned about it, then live with stock for the rest of your life.

You have to pay to play........with ANYTHING you do......

Took my BMW in for warranty work, full lenght CAI in the way, they never said anything and it's been to 2 different dealers due to our moving, both said the K&N needs oiling.. I said thanks.

Took my Harley in for warranty, full length V&H, sets off car alarms at 40 feet, open breather assy, and they replaced my horn and did mention the aftermarket, non-screamin eagle installed in my garage parts bought off ebay... they said they liked the sound.

My Mustang CD loader door stuck open today, will be going in Thursday, let them say something about my CAI and I will punch them in the face...

Dan..... nuke this thread.

Oh, and I wanted that T/C box, but for $50?, thats one of the four springs I need, no way.

K.
