Default COP ignition

I have seen ICP on some cars both stangs and other and noticed that moto blues kit is only for 99-04 so i was wondering if anyone had them or knows anyone with them and what the difference is between the 99-04 ingition and the 96 ignition systems any input would be awsome

I think that up until 1999, distributors were used with a coil rather than a Coil on Plug ignition system. Each plug has its own coil in the 99-04 Mustangs.

x2 he is correct, the 99 and up have the Coild on plug ignition and pre 99 have distributors to the coil. so no i dont think it will work with a 96

You're both wrong. '96-'98 use coil packs, they don't have distributors. '99 and up use COP ignition (coil on plug). They're not called individual coil packs because they're not packs... And yes, you can swap COP ignition to '96-'98 Mustangs pretty easy. There's a write up somewhere for it. I'll try to find it...
