ok when i was leaving work about an hr ago... i started it and it made a loud clicking noisethen it started up... so i wait a lil bit to make sure evverythings ok.. so i put it in gear and i start goin and it is jerking real bad and my cd player kept goin on and off and my radar detector kept goin on and off as well.. so i stopped turned it off opened my hood and checked my battery cables and everything was fine so i started it back up no clicks started up fine.. well i start goin down teh road and my radio and radar detector start turnin off and on again.. and my car would die then come back alive then die then come back alive.. i stop and open my hood again to see everything and wait about 30 min, start it back up and everythign was fine start driving and everything was fine the whole 30 minute way home, but what could this be alternator?? starter?? signs of i need a tune up???

ohh yea when i tried drivin the 1st time and it started actin all funny my theft light started blinking really fast but when i turned it off and turned it back on it didnt come back

anybody know??
