comp vs. VT

Default comp vs. VT

i have found 2 really good deals on vt stage 1 and comp 262ah camshafts. which of the two would i be better off getting? my 00 gt has a stock bottom end, whats the largest cam i can go with? all info appreciated

Intake do you mean cold air intake or the whole thing throttle body , plenum, and CAI

Go with stage 1 if you are not going to do anything else.
Stage 2 if you are building the whole motor.
Blower cams if you plan on supercharging

If you are planning on staying n/a I would get the comp cams. They will advance your timing 5 degrees without a timing adjuster while the vt's won't. They have to be degreed though, vt's don't. Vt cams have a more agressive chop at idle than comps.

i have vt stage 1 n/a cams and love them. has a nice rumble to the car and i picked up about a half a second off my ¼ time with the cams. i am very satisified with them
