Your wording came off wrong in the OP Andy. You're talking about how it's possible for a stock 99-04 GT to go 13.99 bone stock.

Yet you bring up 3-4 flaws.

1. It's your FRIEND doing it.
2. He's on Slicks which is certainly NOT stock
3. He did not even go 13.99
4. nothing, just 3 flaws.. lol

I'm impressed with a 14.07 on a 1.9 60' bone stock guys. I dont understand why nobody else is though.

Everyone in here is making it sound like it happens all the tiem, thay themselves, their brothers, and their fathers have all driviin one to a stock 13.99.

I did not. Thats for ****ing sure. I went 3 times, WITH mods, before I got to a 13.9

Impressed yes. But there are still people in here talking about how they went 13.9 or whatever, or 13.7 bone stock besides X mod.

Thats stupid. I'm sure there are lots of people who have gone 13.2's bone stock except for full bolt ons and DR"s.

Well my examples would have been based on my times if my car was a 5 speed [8D]

This sucks, I can barely get into the 14's, Granted, I race at 4800ft, but I can't even dream about 13's. Elevation really sucks.
i run at 4700ft myself man, and trust me i do sympathize with you, it REALLY sucks.

when my car was 100% stock from the factory I ran a high 13 in less than perfect conditions and a less than perfect driver.
You invested in the really good driver mod.
thanks. I don't think I'm that great of a driver, my car just runs well

I did meet up with someone on mustangworld that lives in Alabama. He was running mid 14's in his stock GT, I made 1 pass with it and ran like a 14.1. This was after MY car had been modded and it was difficult trying to shift with the stock sloppy shifter. The track sucked also, I think it was called Steele race track.
