When im in WOT in 1st its not very strong, atleast not as much as it use to be, I almost think it running to rich because here recently my gas mileage has dropped a conciderable amount. My friend has a '02 just like mine and all he has is exhuast and his 1st is much more powerful then mine, anybody got any idea or clues to why this is?

same here it feels like something is holding it back and as soon as the car hits 2nd it wakes up and it pulls like a motherfcuker

could be a dirty maf,dirty air filter.. etc. if youve lost performance and nothing major has happened, no CEL on.. id say maybe routine maintenance... plugs, air filter etc.

Is it an auto? What gears are you running? I have 4.10s, and sometimes my car feels like it pulls way harder in 2nd and 3rd not because of loss of power but just that it goes through first gear so fast. Even though I'm accelerating fast it doesn't have that pulling feeling to it...it just goes. I just don't see your car having WOT issue that only presents itself in one gear, unless its an auto.

No idea, when I bought the car it had 67000 now it has 87000... I doubt it has ever been replaced...
