STUCK IN MOTHER FUC**** REVERSE AGAIN!!!!
I just took my car in for a rebuild 3 months ago. Got it back and it got stuck in reverse 3 months later. I used to have to rare back and kick it, but this last time I broke the Steeda Tri-Ax smooth in half. Bought a new shifter and towed the car back. It's under warranty. They had the car for 2 weeks and said they had it fixed yesterday. I pick the car up after hours and went to wal mart to have my new wheels thrown on. The guy finished, backed it out to me and it GOT STUCK AGAIN! CAN NOT GET IT OUT OF REVERSE! This is not 1 hour after I have the car back. Now it's Labor Day weekend and I can't even get home! WTF I'm SO MAD I WANT TO KILL SOMEONE AND BURN THE TRANNY SHOP DOWN!!!
I've tried rocking it back and forth...nothing.
I don't want to break the new shifter.....I am stranded in Texas until!!!! WWWTTTTTTFFFF!!!!!

Dude that use to happen to my old car but it would get stuck in fifth pretty bad. Try getting it out with the car runnig and with the car off??? So what if you got the car going in reverse once its going you cant push the clutch in and take it out??

Trust me...I've even sprinkled fairy dust on it while peeing on it...it's not coming out. No matter what. This apparrently happens alot. I'm calling Ford. They need to recall these **** trannys and buy me a new one!

happend to me b4 then i changed my clutch cable with the steeda adjustable clutch kit never happened again.. what was happening to me was the clutch was not fully engageing do to a strecth out clutch cable.

Mine gets stuck too. I just half to take it out of gear while it's still rolling backwards. Try that if you haven't already. Had it at the tire rack one time and this kids face was all red trying to get it out of reverse. I had to get in the car and show him just in case it happened to him again.
