Default O2 sensor causing the problem??

I recently got a oxygen sensor code thrown. It says it is the sens. 2 bank 2, now is the the passenger side back one or is it another one? My question is can a bad o2 sensor cause my car to flatten out past 3grand? it pulls real hard up until 3 but then just kind of flattens out. thanks

If I remember correctly, bank 2= passenger side and sensor 2 = rear most sensor. The rear sensors really dont affect driveability, they are just there to let the ECM know if your Catalytics are working how they are suppose to. If anyone does not agree, please correct me.

I agree. The only thing the rear o2 sensors do is make sure your cats are working properly. They have nothing to do with calculating A/F ratios. The front ones do that. One other note: on mustangs, bank 2 is the driver side and bank 1 is on the passenger side.
