gears+ lube cost me about $110 each time I swap, but I sell the old gears for around $90 each time so it really only costs me about $20 . This is my 2nd time with 4.10's, have had 3.73's in between them.

PS: 4.10's + s/c = the win even on stock tires (unless your trapping over 115 mph).

used a friends shop the last 2 times, I was doin it in between work - didn't have to do anything other than watch and it didnt cost me anything no gear oil smell for me!

so did you get new ones? I'm sure JD is glad you changed them in the first place though.

where are you getting your gears for $110? which brand? i'm looking for my 4.10's, i'd prefer FRPP ones but the best price i can find is like 180 shipped

he was topping fourth at the end of the quarter and coasting through the traps... so he went to a lower gear.

An uncle of mine is stalling my 4.10s once he's free. He has installed and adjusted the gears on his TA a ton, so much that he can get the rear end off, tweak the gears and have the car ready to go in an hour and a half. He's saving me 300 bucks.
