Well I got my car back from the body shop today. It was in an accident, not my fault. Someone drunk ran into a parked car, MY PARKED CAR.

Anyways, before the accident, I purchased a Diablosport Pred tuner. I never got a chance to use it. Now that I have the car back, I'd like to use the peice. My problem is that whoever owned the car before me, did some modifications to the car (I bought it from a dealer.), and I don't know if they ever tuned it, or had it reflashed, etc. I read using a tuner on the car if it doesn't have a factory tune on it can seriously screw up your engine. How can I check and see if the car has a tune on it safely/ freely?

Well with the Predator tuner once you plug it into the car im pretty sure it "marries" that car and whatever tune is in it that will be the stock tune. What all is done to the car? If you dont have any real motor work I would just put the Diablo tune in for 93 octane.

 

The car is just bolt ons, no F/I or anything. I was just going to put the Pred tune on it, but I wanted to double check first. I only use 93 octane as it is now anyways so that won't be a problem.

 

I dont think you should use 93 unless your tuned for it or require it.
