Wow, thanks for the info. Sounds like a great mod. Except i doubt i will see 230. Im at 207 right now. VERY doubtful i will even see 15hp out of it. I have dyno'd all my mods and to see what the manufactures say you will get to what i actually got was a slap in the face.

Casper, all you need is the PI intake, PI heater/coolant tube, NPI gaskets (i used my old ones), some RTV. Get the newer intake with the aluminim crossover if you can....I got a 2000 which is still all plastic , but hopefully it will not crack. The driver's side CTS will have to be tapped into the crossover or placed on the block near the motor mount, whichever you want. That is pretty much it....it's a pretty painless job. I'm sure for you it will be a breeze. I'm very pleased with the results...it breathes much better!
I will probably get an 04. Still fit? Should i get new intake gaskets? CTS.... tapped? What im really looking for is something up high in the RPM. Because i have me on video whopping a 99 Cobra off the line all the way into the beginning of 3rd. then he just blows me away like im standing still. I really enjoy the way my car performs from stop light to stop light. Anytihng past upper 2nd gear is useless. It feel likes im at cruise control. It sucks.

I hear the PI only intake swap is worth a cool 15 rwhp

so the intake is only 15, and the whole deal with heads and cams is 40 correct?

The whole swap with heads and intake is worth about 60 horses if done correctly, because the increased compression from the PI heads on a non-PI engine is worth about 10 extra horses.

You will for sure gain 15 rwhp at your peak, but 25 or so up high in the band. I really noticed it up there. 04 intake should be fine....tapped at the spot where our CTS is. I would go ahead and order new gaskets...it's up to you if you want PI or NPI. It can be done both ways....you just have to make sure to put RTV on any possible trouble spots. At the moment i think I may have a vaccum leak, but I used my old gaskets. I think I'm going to get brand new PI gaskets for peace of mind.

HAHA. Well, now i know what NOT to do. lol. Thanks. So all i need is the PI inake, PI gaskets, tap a hole in the intake, put sensor in and use PI hose? Easy to me... lol. Then i'll dyno it and tell you how much its really worth.

Oh it fits! LOL. Our stock manifold is really shallow so there is a lot of space under it where the heater tube runs. The PI intake is much deeper but fits perfectly into the extra space. The new heater tube runs along the side of the intake so it will fit down in there.
