My 99's got 106k...but I see no reason why it would take a dump like yours did.

Why did it happen? Do you beat on your car alot? I'm getting worried now...time to sell!

well your cars only as good as you beat on it LOL....i have 80K on my 96 gt and still runs smooth

 

WHAT?? YOu only Redline ur car once a week??? I feel the Need to almost everytime i drive.... Maybee not Redline but atleast 5k..... (2nd gear good pull to Speedlimit)..........

i do have a used stock shortblock for sale as well if you dont replace the whole engine... it has 34k miles on it.

 

well the motor is seized, so my father was basically saying get a new crate motor, and he wont allow me to get a 4v

 

yea i do the same thing, boost up to like 60 in second!!!!! then just let it coast down to 45!!!! honestly man depending on what your wanting out of your car, id say find the problem, then decide on whether an aftermarket short or longblock is right for you. no sense in puttin in a somewhat built motor if your not gonna use it.

and by the way im lookin at a custom built motor right now from Tim at Modular Powerhouse, for well under 10k installed, tuned, and built! im sure you could pick up a stock block (considering thats what you need) for under 2k ready to drop in.

 

we talkin stock crate motor or forged crate motor? if it were me id go forged, theyre honestly gonna cost about the same!
