I was just thinking about how many people here have a 96-98 GT only. I was wondering if you all had dyno numbers HP/TQ/and A/f ratios. I also wanted to know if anyone had 1/4 mile times, or 1/8 mile times. I really want something to compair to. Mods are a must too. Thanks!

Well you got my attention now. Mine has nothing done to it. so I would guess 230 hp.

Keep dreaming if u have a bone stock 98 GT you arent making 230 not even to the flywheel. Mods are in Sig

Dyno numbers: 212 RWHP - 284 RWTQ
1/8: 9.346 @ 75.94
1/4: 14.498 @ 95.92

those numbers are not SAE corrected track is 1,243 feet above sea level.

I'll catch you some day. My Port and Polished PI headswap is almost done and I added some FRPP shortie headers. I just need some cams and hopefully I'll be running right up there with you.

96gt best 1/4 14.5 with a 2.0 60' with 165000+ miles on engine, trans, suspeision

that was all stock i went 14.5 i just put exhaust on it not to long ago

I ran a 14.7 but it was cuz it my first time, car shouldve ran high 13s low 14s, now as soon as the track opens ill be hoping for low 13s high 12s

I'll post the info after I get the PI head and intake swap completed. I'll probably wait to take it to the track until after I get 4:10 gears and a shifter and I also want to have it dyno tuned. Hoping to be well into the 13's when all is said and done. Current mods include a MAC off-road H-pipe and American Thunder cat-back soon to be replaced by Flowmaster Super 40s.
