Maybe 1-2 hp...[&:] I don't think it's worth your time. Just get a new one from accufab or C&L...you will see better gains.

yes I run a ported stocker, doesnt mean its the best - only that to me its not worth buying an aftermarket one just yet.

I think your gonna see quite a bit more than that with a aftermarket plenum. At some point I have to get back to the dyno shop, and they wanted me to bring my old stocker and see what it does.

They have a dyno hanging by the C&L meters in their shop of a 98 GT with boltons and cams (no LTs though) and he dynoed 10 more RWHP and like 8 RWTQ from a C&L meter (already had a 75 MM T/B).

talking about plenums, not maf's. And even an accufab is dyno proven to only add 2-3 rwhp over stock with an already installed 70mm tb. Hell, with an aftermarket plenum and throttle body modulard depot tested 4 or 5 of those over the stock setup... average was around 5 rwhp gain with BOTH afrtermarket throttle body and plenum... best was accufab with 7 rwhp and 7 rwtq. I guarantee you I've got that or more with my ported stocker and polished 70mm Ford throttle body.

Sorry bout that, I was meaning plenum and got confused.

MM&FF and the local shop and all that, it was all about the plenum. I will have to see if they can get me a copy of the dyno.

I am really interested in trying this out now. I think i will spend a few extra minutes the next time I am on the dyno (late summer) and try it with and without.

Modular depot did some testing on the polishing of the plenums as well... they were seeing about a 2 or 3 hp gain from doing it on an accufab plenum (don't remember if it was 70 or 75 off the top of my head). I believe they'll do it for 100 bucks now if you buy your plenum and tb from them.
