Default Install NGK Tr7's= More gargly exhaust??

ok well i got my ngk tr7's install, gapped at 30, im getting my car dynoed on wednesday so i thought i would put them in tonight, i was kinda bored. everything went fine and feels fine, but under decel now it seems like it gargles alot more then it did before. i think it sounds bad *** but just wondering why it would do this? and everything feels normal same as it did with the motorcrafts that were in there. anyone know why?

I doubt your gap would cause a sound difference, but doesnt .30 seem awfully small to you?

I believe the plugs, as well as my owners manual said something like .56? or .5X something.

As for the sound upon deceleration, mine was actually MORE pronounced BEFORE my spark plug issues, then having ran the helicoil and what not, it doesnt pop quite as much, though it is still there and that burbling im sure youre talking about as well.

Do you mean popping on decell?
If so, that's generally a sign that you are burning lean, but not always.
If that's the case, the dyno will pick it up in a second.

I have never run the TR7's...might have to try them. Lemme know how it does on the dyno.

Thats not too small. I have mine gapped at 35 and am planning on using these with a 100 wet shot. Out of curiosity, what are you setting your window switch at and did you have to do upgrade any fuel stuff for the 125?
