It's not boost that kills engines, it's horsepower. You're pushing it at about ~450 or more horses.

do you even know how much power you're putting down? did you even get it tuned or are you running around with the mail order tune it came with? if so, good luck and i await your blown motor topic.

you can have it running 12 psi but as long as the tune limits it to around 375 you will be ok. i wouldnt exceed 400rwhp on the stock bottem end

U want 650 rwhp out of ur 2v??
Heres an incomplete list of what you're going to need:

Forged Rotating Assembly
Ported Heads
Cams
Long Tube Headers
Full Exhaust
TB
Aftermarket MAF Sensor
A Serious Fuel System
Ugrade to a D1SC Head Unit (More Boost)
3 Core Intercooler
Aftermarket Clutch
Aftermarket Rear End
Stronger Transmission
Upgraded Rear End
And i'm sure you will need a lot more than that.

Here is a link for what it took Kenne Bell to get 642 rwhp out if a 2v GT.

And please realize that this was a very general list of what you need. There are a lot things that were left out.
