Default A/C Control panel

Has any moved the A/C control panel down where the factory cd player is in a 94-98? I want to put a 6 nav kit in the middle bins? Does any on know where i can get a trim piece that combines the two middle bins?

I've been working on the stang in that area and looked at the possibility for you. to reuse your existing trim piece you'll need to cut a couple bits of the dash out and create a brace to hold the a/c panel in the new location (there are provisions for it where it exist now, not where you'd want to put it). keep in mind 01-04 mustangs use a double din trim panelif that's whata your looking for. All in all, it is possible, if you feel like messing with the injection molded dash and the trim support panels..maybe if your good in fiberglass?

Would the 01-04 mustangs use a double din trim panel work for the 94-98 mustang?

I'm assuming it would. I don't think ford would alter dash-structure to fit a double-din head unit. Best bet would be to check with a friend who has a 01+ first. Sorry i can't be much more help

Here is where i stole the idea. But i havent found any where you can get these dash kits. I guessing it was done custom.
