Default ABS

I have a 99 GT, does anyone know why my abs light might be staying on all the time which I think is causing my traction control to always be off. I replaced my front hubs but I think it might be one of the sensors. does anyone know how I can test the sensors or know what else I can do to fix it? Thanks a Lot

Default RE: ABS

Most diagnostic tools can test to see what the problem in the abs unit is directly, taking it down to a local autoshop would be the clear-cut way to do it. But if you would rather just check, both abs sensors for the front wheels are mounted on the spindle-strut mount by a 22mm nut. Both lines run up to a pig-tail connector under the fender (you'll need to remove the mud gaurd to access it). The rear sensors are on the torque plate, and the rear lines connect under the seat by the bulk head. The main harness is located on the unit itself (big grey connector), make sure it is secure as well as the fuse for the system. And yes, it is the reason traction control is always off
