I have the Ram intake and the shop I go to I asked them the same question and HE said there isn't a huge difference at all the only thing different really is alot of people like to see the big *** filter for show haha! plus you will save a few bucks W/ the RAM put that extra money to a new TB and Plenum IF you haven't already.
thats anothe rmod that will do almost nothing... just get the cheap ebay 50.00 intake and the cheapo typhoon or whatever plenum if you feel like you must.. the intake will free up some mpg, and make it rev a little quicker, the intake is not even noticable, nor is it worth the price, unless your running FI with new internals

CAI = colder air taken into motor = little more HP. outside air is gonna be cooler than the air inside the engine bay just about no matter what.

i would co CAI, and get TB/plenum and whatnot.

What do you think the stock intake is? Look at it it pulls air in from the fender why pay $200 to do the same thing. The stock intake tube flows more than enough air then the heads can so just get something cheap and pretty.

Save your money on both. Just get rid of the silencer and pop in a K&N filter. IMO Unless you really like the looks of the new shiny tube, its not worth the money for either CAI or RAI.

+1 on the CAI instead of the RAI if you want to spend the money. The fitment for mine was kind of uh..terrible, though.

I kinda regret I went with an intake in general, ha. Jumped the gun on that one.
