i have a 96 gt 5 speed and i cant shift into any gear without a lot of force no grinding though and no poping out of reverse i have a steeda tri ax and an adjustable cable no matter what i do with the cable it doesnt help any ideas need this fixed asap could something be bent clutch fork, pressure plate springs im clueless on this onewas gettin ready togo to summit for theking cobra clutch kit but figured id ask for some help first if it helps i have bbk long tubes, x pipe, flowmasters, pullies, 4.10s, intake plenum, throttlebody, cold air,

Clutch fork maybe... Check the bump stops on your shifter. When did it start doing it? how?

 

its been doin it for awhile just getting progressivly worse bump stops are set correctly though

 

Check trans fluid. If it's low, it'll be hard to get into and out of gear.
