Default T-45 swap

I am going to attempt swapping my tranny out for a new one. (another T-45...I know shoulda gotta something better) But anyways I dont plan on changing the clutch because the one in my car dosent have more than 1,000 miles on it. I do think that the flywheel will be replaced though. I have read as many HOW TO's I could possibly read. I just want to know the chances that I will screw something up, what are some key pointsI should pay carefull attention to, what parts do I need to grease...Just anything you could comment on would be appreciated!!!

The car is a 1999 GT By the way...

How old is your TOB? What kind of clutch is in there now? Why do you want a new flywheel? There's not much to the swap. Grease the input shaft where the TOB rides on it, thefingers on the clutchfork that hold the TOBand the pivot point the fork sits in.

If you do the flywheel, you need to remove the clutch. Its pretty straightforward. Just slowly andevenlyloosen the pressure plate bolts from theflyweel so you dont damage the pressure plate. Then remove the flywheel. Installation is the reverse of removal.Youll need an alignment tool and some loctite to put it back togetherand you should probably do the pilot bearing while you're in there.

Its an OEM clutch (TOB replaced with clutch), when I had it replaced the person (moron) who installed it told me that the flywheel was stress cracked......after he had reassembled everything. I might just wait for some more funds and throw in a King Cobra while I'm at it. Also waht type of grease should I use?

You want an FRPP king cobra for cheep? I'm swapping to a spec stg 3 for the blower so... I'll sell it to you for 40 bucks plus ship? Only has about 3000 or so miles on it. Pressure plate and disc only I believe the TOB is bad.

Will be out hopefully tommorow or wednesday. I'm swapping to a stronger T-45R and installing my blower too so I'll make sure to take pics of the clutch.
