ok so what is difference between having a shorty header and a x pipe or having a long tube header and a short x pipe? which combination is better? any suggestions?

long tubes and shorty x pipe. The difference is that the long tubes are longer and therefore they require a shorter x pipe. The long tubes flow much better than shorties and stock. It has a much alrger volume of air, so go with the long tubes, or LT's and shorty x

If you are dead set on doing headers then LTs and shorty X FTW but I hear that the cost of the parts and install isn't really worth it considering the gains over swapping to an O/R X pipe. I mean I guess it depends on the person but to me 350+$ for LTs then 150ish for the pipe and probably something near250-300$ for installation for what? 25 HP? You can install an O/R X in your driveway on a Saturday afternoon and gain 10-15 for 150$. To me it just wasn't worth it.
